Corrie Lynn Green
Appalachia/Americana/Singer-Songwriter
Corrie Lynn Green is an Appalachian folk singer-songwriter from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, currently creating a unique spin on the Americana and Appalachian genres.
Corrie Lynn Green’s music reflects the stories of life in a small mountain town, drawing from her deep roots in rural Appalachia. She is a self-taught musician who found a handmade clawhammer banjo during a formative period of her life and used it to develop a style that explores themes of self-discovery, heartbreak, and resilience. Spinning the roots of her musical bluegrass family into traditional Folk, Americana and Punk sounds, Corrie Lynn redefines the meaning of music and expression from the center of the holler world.
In May 2021, she released her debut album, "Blow Away," produced by D.W. Fearn. Since then, she has been honored to place third in the Stefan George Songwriting Competition in Tucson, Arizona in 2021, was named the early bird songwriter pick for NewSong Music in 2023, was named Best Folk Album of the Year Native DSD in 2024 and was an emerging band invitee at Merlefest in 2025.
With her 5th album on the way in five years she is eager to share new stories of mountain life, religious rebellion and political ponder with her emerging audience.
