Corrie Lynn Green is an Appalachian Americana Folk Singer from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Hailed as the authentic mountain sound of the Valley, Corrie Lynn stays true to the root and soil of the land and bluegrass music family in which she was raised while using her voice to break away and challenge social norms about education status, land equity, religion and poverty.
Growing up, Corrie Lynn moved with her family from place to place, from government housing and food stamps to the most rural hollers of Virginia, taking with her unique perspectives of poverty as an act of joy, authenticity of spirit and resiliency in change.
In 2019 renowned audio engineer and producer D.W. Fearn stumbled upon a song by Corrie Lynn and began recording her with finest musicians in Pennsylvania creating four cascading albums in four years.
As an emerging artist in the music world, Corrie Lynn is continuing to receive national recognition, including placing third in the 2021 Tucson Folk Festival Stephan George Songwriter of the year search, top ten songwriter in the nation Tucson Folk Festival 2022, NewSong Music Leaf Festival Early Bird Songwriter pick for 2023, Native DSD Folk Album of the Year in 2025 and and emerging artist invite to Merlefest in 2025.
